Dr. Scerba completed the Healing Oasis Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy 226 hour course in August 2007 and is now treating patients. Only one other veterinarian in New York has completed the Healing Oasis course and passed the certification exam (she is one of the instructors).

If you go to the Healing Oasis Welless Center web site you can see it is the only nationally accredited school for veterinary spinal manipulation and learn more about their spinal certification program.

Dr. Scerba also took and passed the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA) Certification Exam in September of 2007. Upon completing the required 40 hours of internship Dr. Scerba was then certified by them.

The AVCA exam and the Healing Oasis exam are grueling two day events of a three hour written exam and a practical exam for both equine and canine patients (horses and dogs).
