Policies

Cancellation notice- We understand that there are important reasons to cancel but as a courtesy to our other clients and staff we as for a 24 hour notice to avoid cancellation fee of $75. For Monday appointments we do request a call by Friday by 6 pm if you need to cancel.

Late arrivals- If running late please give us a call as soon as possible. Doctor will see you if within 10-15 minutes of scheduled appointment time.

Bad Weather- We understand tat some people prefer not to drive in poor weather conditions. We certainly do not want our clients to feel unsafe, however please notify us immediately if you are unable to come in so we may offer your appointment slot to another client.

FAQ's

How do we differ from a Western Vet?- Holistic Medicine is an individualized approach to medicine. We strive to find the underlying cause of any condition in order to bring your pet back into balance. To accomplish this we will consider all aspects of your animal companions life including diet and nutrition, lifestyle and medical records. Appointments generally run about 45 minutes to an hour. We operate in a stress free environment and do not keep our clients waiting out in the waiting room. We utilize soft, comfortable blankets and dim lights to have a relaxed atmosphere and all members of our staff are trained in gentle restraint.

Should i arrive early for my appointment?- For all new clients, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to fill our paper work if you haven’t already in our Form Section (Forms)

How often are visits?- Treatment plans are very individualized to each client. A treatment plan will be developed at your initial consultation that best suits you and your animal companion, however typically we do see clients weekly for the 1st 5 weeks.

How soon should i see results?- All pets respond to treatments differently. Some may show results the day of and some may need a few treatments before seeing noticeable results.

What can i expect after treatments?- It is normal for your animal companion to seem a bit quiet and/or sleepy after treatment. However, we do encourage you to call the office if you are concerned.

Should i keep my dog calm after spinal adjustment treatment?- After a spinal adjustment we recommend no ball playing, running, or jumping for first 3 days. Also recommend leash walk only.

What payment methods do we accept?- We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, Check and Care Credit.

Do we accept insurance?- We do participate in insurance programs and will assist to the best of our ability. However, please contact your insurance provider directly to discuss coverage and eligible treatments.
