Emily DeWein was born and raised in Clifton Park, NY and currently resides there with her loving boyfriend and their three dogs, Lacey, Axle and Annie.
She has always had a passion for animals and grew up surrounded by cats and dogs, many of which she rescued herself. She was always leaving plates of food out for the local strays and sneaking the animals into the house—much to her parents’ dismay.
She always dreamed of working with animals, and obtained her Veterinary Assistant Certificate from the Animal Behavior College in 2015. She began her career at Holistic Veterinary Center later that year, and worked her way up to Practice Manager in the fall of 2018. She has fallen in love with Eastern medicine and applies those principles to her own pets—relying exclusively on holistic medicine for all of their needs.
When she isn’t working, Emily loves to spend time with her family and dogs, go fishing, and enjoy the outdoors.
